2nd West Michigan Tune-Up

July 30th we will host our tune-up tournament to help players prepare for the fall season of play kicking off with the Michigan Open on Labor Day. There will be something for everyone at the tournament! We will host three sections with first place trophies for all. Tiebreaks (to claim trophy) will be broken by blitz mini-matches (G/3+2) in the premiere section. Cash prizes to be split up if tied. More details below! Register and pay below! USCF Membership required to play. GRCC membership provides discount.

Where: Hosted by Grand Rapids Chess Center

Sections: Premiere (1600+), Reserve (1100+), Novice (Unr-1099). Players will play according to their published ratings unless given exception by the director.

Cost: $55 (GRCC Member Cost $45) $5 more on-site
