Event Overview
The University of Vermont Chess Club is hosting our annual open tournament on February 11th & 12th.
Location: Old Mill #325. 94 University Pl, Burlington VT 05405.
Format: 4SS, G/60, d5. USCF rated.
Sections: Open, U1300
Entry fee: $40 for Open, $25 for U1300.
Prizes: Open - $200, $100. U1300 - $125, $75.
Schedule: Registration Sat. 10:00-10:45 AM. Rounds 11 AM & 2 PM on both Saturday & Sunday.
Byes: limit one half-point bye in any round except round 4, must request by Saturday at 1:30 PM.
This event will be a fundraiser for the UVM Chess Club. All excess proceeds from entry fees will directly fund club travel & entry to tournaments during the rest of the Spring semester.
All prizes will be in the form of Amazon gift cards, distributed via email shortly following the tournament. This is required by UVM policy.
